Do you need a professional?

Not necessarily! Plenty of homeowners have successfully painted their own cabinets. If you've got enough time and energy, it’s an achievable project. However, if you’re worried about a certain level of quality, or simply don't have the time and energy it takes, then we’re here for you! If you do decide to hire out the job, here is a bit of information about the way we do things that might be helpful:

Process

It's true what they say, “A good paint job depends on the prep. ‘ After removing your doors, the first step is to clean any cooking grease and grime that has collected on them through the years. We then sand everything thoroughly and apply one to two coats of a high-quality bonding primer/sealer, depending on the project. This is followed up by one to two topcoats and then re-installation. Ventilated on-site spray booth and HEPA grade, dustless sanding keep the dust out of your house.

Products

A vast majority of the cost on a refinishing project is in the labor, so it makes no sense to skimp when it comes to the products used . High-quality, cabinet-rated 1K and 2k polyurethanes from Renner, Milesi, and SW Gallery deliver a durable, incredible-looking finish. These coatings can cost between 2 and 3 times what you might pay for off-the-shelf paints, but are well worth the extra few hundred dollars spent relative to the cost of the project.

Passion

We thoroughly enjoy fine finishing, and are regularly updating our methods in the name of continual improvement. The other thing we love is customer service, and we want to give you the best experience you've ever had with a painting company, regarding not only the finished product, but also your experience throughout the project.
